Understanding Express Entry
Express Entry is Canada’s primary system for managing applications under three major economic immigration programs:
Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
Candidates are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which evaluates factors such as age, education, language proficiency, and work experience. Additional CRS points can be earned for:
Provincial nominations (+600 points).
French language proficiency.
Canadian education or work experience.
